You ever hear that feint but definite click on your phone line when you mention things like al-Qaeda, nuclear missiles, the Kennedy assassinations, the moon landings and the deepest and most perplexing mystery of all: why do people find Friends, funny?
They’re listening.
They’re watching.
They’re wearing your underwear.
But there are those among us, those brave / foolish souls who dare strike back against ‘the man’. Let’s have a hearty hurrah for Robot Wisdom, Cryptome and Cartome.
Without them, our self-induced paranoid fantasia would have no focus at all .. real or otherwise...

There is a serious side to all of this.
For the inquisitive types like myself, I can spend many hours just drifting through these websites, filling my head with nodules of knowledge, sometimes out of context, sometimes out of boredom.
It's worrying, because you get to read some since declassified documents about how a nuclear missile got dropped, or a consignment of nerve gas got mixed up with a 2 gallon drum of baked beans.
Worse still, black projects / operations, surveillance of politicians, wiretaps .. the list goes on!
I have my tinfoil hat. I'm prepared...
