Don't drink and 'blog. And definately don't 'blog when bored.
It's like learning to juggle with knives: you'll either hurt yourself or someone else.

I do sometimes read blogs when bored. Perhaps, 'blogging' should be broken into 'reading' and 'writing'?
As an aside, I would definitely like to read what a person writes when stone-cold drunk :-). Have there been studies regarding what people write (if one could read their writing, that is) when there are totally drunk?
I've been at my most productive when I've had a few to drink.
When I'm of a mind to, I will neck three pints of lager and then sit down and fly through a days work in an evening...

Well, I'm always happy to bore people rigid with all manor of sleep-inducing anecdotes.
Like I said, I've had my fair share of the rough times. I think most people want a little sunshine after the rain.

Now, if you're wanting drink-fueled drivel, then just look out for me 'Blogging from Friday evening through Sunday morning .. oh, the regret...
