Reality
So there I am, driving through to my accountants and I'm licking the hole where my tooth used to be.
The pain I can deal with, it's the incompleteness of it all that bothers me more than anything else.
On the side of the road, a middle-aged guy ambles along with his right hand tucked deep into his cardigan pocket.
As I drew closer, I realized that it was only his sleeve that was tucked into the pocket.
There was no right arm to fill the sleeve.
Note to self: stop whining, things could be measurably worse...

You might enjoy this news: Growing replacement teeth.
I've read about this research before.
I know that you can pay to have teeth rebuilt, such as those that have been chipped and damaged.
The process actually re-grows the tooth.
It's not cheap, though.
I read that you're looking at laying down about £1k ($1.8k) per tooth...
Actually, it might be worth it.. for example if you are, say Tony Blair, and your front two teeth went AWOL...
Unfortunately, I don't have Tony Blairs' money...
"Note to self: stop whining, things could be measurably worse..."Are you referring to the fact that he was missing an arm ... or wearing a cardigan?
I'll get me coat.

Bloody double post ... *grumble*
It's been pretty chaotic over the past few days with Blogger acting up.
I went and had a look at the Blogger Status page and they're having some 'issues'.
I've been on a few 'blogs and seen people multi-posting left, right and centre...
You're right, things could be worse. But the truth of the matter is having a painful tooth hole still sucks.
Hope it's feeling better soon.
Hi Raida, thanks for posting.
I think I've developed a cluster of ulcers around the hole, which is proving to be a bit of a pain, in a very literal way.
Thanks for the kind words...
